Meet Lee

Hi, I'm Lee - the heart behind Repose Wellbeing. My journey into yoga began in 2023, during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. After losing both of my parents within a short space of time, I was left navigating deep grief and overwhelming health anxiety. I felt stuck in a loop of fear - constantly checking in on every little sensation, convinced something was wrong. My mind was on high alert, and my nervous system was exhausted.

Then, yoga found its way to me. At first, it was just a quiet space to breathe - somewhere I could soften the edges of my anxiety and feel safe in my own body again. Over time, it became so much more than that. It became a lifeline. A space to heal, to rebuild, and to reconnect with myself - not through force, but through kindness.

In 2024, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Edinburgh. I realised I didn't just want to practice yoga - I wanted to share it, especially with those who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or like they're carrying too much on their shoulders. Repose Wellbeing was born from this vision: to create a space that feels like an exhale. A space where movement is gentle, breath is medicine, and every part of you is welcome - just as you are.

I now teach calming, beginner-friendly yoga and Yin yoga for all levels - practices that invite softness, stillness, and deep rest. I have recently qualified as a massage therapist and I am also training as a personal trainer to offer an even more holistic approach to wellbeing. My classes are for anyone who is craving a bit of peace - whether you're looking to reconnect with your body, soothe your nervous system, or simply to have time that's just for you. 

This is my way of passing on the tools that helped me when I needed them most. And if they can help you too, even just a little, then that means everything to me.
